The personal touch.

I love going to the National Archives at Kew to carry our further research for my second book 'Enemy Engaged'.

It's so exciting to handle and read these historic documents marked 'SECRET' ... to think that senior leaders in the Royal Air Force, and indeed in Britain's wartime government, had done the same over eighty years before me! The visit was made even more special when the first thing I saw, were copies of my first book 'Enemy Sighted' on sale in the bookshop ... and I was humbled when the manager asked if would sign some copies!
